Fraser is an international CFO with extensive board-level experience in publicly listed and private equity businesses and has more than 30 years industry focus on renewable energy, waste and environmental management.
Prior to joining Climate Transition Capital, Fraser was CFO at AIM listed Invinity Energy Systems (formerly redT energy) where he recently completed an RTO and re-listing, creating the leading supplier of vanadium redox flow batteries, an emerging technology ideal for large scale energy storage.
Before that Fraser spent two years as a Managing Director at the Green Investment Bank, where he played a key role in the extensive restructuring work associated with the GIB’s acquisition by Macquarie Bank in 2017. He spent five years as CFO of Element Power, a private equity-backed, global renewable energy developer which had a development portfolio of more than 10 GW at its peak. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Shanks Group plc, a FTSE 250 company and one of Europe’s largest independent waste management companies, the last four years as Group Finance Director.
Fraser qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London after gaining a First-Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering at Kings College, University of London.
